“I’ve tried acupuncture…”
Saying you’ve been to an acupuncturist is like saying you’ve eaten in a restaurant, listened to music, or been to church. There is a tremendous variety of approaches, styles, objectives, and intents as well as training, expertise, specialties, and results.
Most conditions typically requires a series of acupuncture treatments, so one treatment may not tell you much. The number of treatments needed depends on the nature of your problem as well as your overall health, your age, and how you respond to acupuncture. A general rule of thumb is for problems older than one year, it usually takes at least 10 treatments to resolve the problem. Acute problems typically take fewer treatments, ranging anywhere from 3-6 treatments on average.
We believe that acupuncture is an incredible therapy that can be of benefit to almost every health condition!
As ambassadors of acupuncture, we want to be sure that your first experience with acupuncture is safe, comfortable and positive, so that we can help you discover the incredible benefits of acupuncture too! Acupuncture can do so much more than just treat pain, it can also help improve health and quality of life: it can help you sleep better, boost energy, boost moods and get sick less often.
